Strongly recommend for a short stint
Charming atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, the breakfast prepared with locally sourced ingredients offered a delightful start to our day and the location made it incredibly easy to explore nearby attractions, including a beach just a short walk away.
Everything exceeded my hopes.

while i almost considered giving a good review, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud of disappointment, and towels i requested at breakfast never arrived. surprise surprise! as a guest in the "mansion," i expected at least a complimentary bottle of water for my troubles. clearly, they prioritize the mundane over the magnificent.

The Stable Room was a delightful haven, boasting elegant decor that incorporated original features and a cozy sitting area with an electric fireplace. The inviting library made for perfect afternoons. There was an abundance of thoughtful touches, but the bed could have been a bit more comfortable.

original woodworking, unique historical decor, informative house tours
The excessive text messages before arrival were overwhelming!!! Not to mention the confusion about being placed in the garage room instead of the mansion itself. These are details that should be clarified before arrival!!!

I was delighted by the charming decor of the original silk wallpaper and polished wood throughout the mansion, which beautifully captures its historical essence and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests, including seniors like myself.
A few more outdoor seating options would be ideal.

We had a fantastic time in the Stable Room, perfect for our large family! The mansion is stunning, and the 4:30 cocktail hour allowed us to mingle with other guests and learn about its history. The attention to detail, like the coffee bar, was a nice surprise.
My kids wished for more outdoor space to run around.
